About Stefani’s Children’s Foundation

Supporting Children, Families, and Community Organizations Since 1988

Founded in 1988, Stefani’s Children’s Foundation is a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) charitable foundation dedicated to supporting children, families, and community organizations throughout Chicagoland.

For decades, the Foundation’s signature golf outing has served as its primary fundraising event, bringing together the Stefani family, friends, sponsors, vendors, restaurant partners, and community supporters for a meaningful day of golf, hospitality, and giving back. The outing has long been more than a day on the course. It is a tradition built around generosity, community, and the belief that hospitality can be used as a force for good. Through past fundraising efforts, Stefani’s Children’s Foundation has helped support a wide range of causes focused on children’s health, youth education, family services, special-needs programs, community outreach, disease-specific charities, and organizations that provide care and opportunity to those who need it most. Historically, the Foundation’s giving has been connected to causes and organizations that support pediatric healthcare, youth development, education, residential care, family assistance, disability support, and community-based services. Organizations and causes associated with the Foundation’s charitable giving have included After School Matters, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago-related causes, Maryville Academy, Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, Misericordia, United Cerebral Palsy, Ronald McDonald House, Special Olympics, Jesse White Tumblers, Chicago Shakespeare Theater youth programming, Cradles Cribs & Crayons, countless Chicagoland-area schools, Cystic Fibrosis-related causes, and other organizations dedicated to helping children and families in need.

The Foundation’s mission is simple: bring people together to support organizations that provide care, opportunity, stability, education, and hope to children and families across the Chicago area.

A Tradition of Giving Back

The spirit behind Stefani’s Children’s Foundation has always extended beyond fundraising alone. It reflects the Stefani family’s long-standing belief that hospitality is about more than restaurants. It is about showing up for the community, supporting people during difficult times, and using our resources to make a positive impact. That commitment was especially meaningful during the COVID-19 pandemic. At a time when the restaurant industry and the entire city were facing unprecedented challenges, the Stefani Family and Team helped provide meals to first responders, healthcare workers, hospitals, emergency personnel, and frontline teams throughout the Chicagoland area. By April 25, 2020, Stefani Restaurant Group had donated more than 4,000 meals to healthcare professionals, first responders, and other local heroes. Meals reached hospitals, emergency workers, police, sheriff’s personnel, and frontline teams across the area, including efforts connected to Northwestern Memorial Hospital emergency-room workers, Mount Sinai Hospital caregivers, Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Weiss Memorial Hospital, the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, Chicago Police personnel, and many other frontline groups serving the community during the first wave of the pandemic. This effort reflected the same values behind Stefani’s Children’s Foundation: bringing people together, caring for and feeding others, supporting those in need, and giving back to the city and people who have supported the Stefani family for generations.

Why This Golf Outing Matters

This year’s golf outing marks the return of a meaningful Stefani family tradition and the Foundation’s signature fundraising event. By purchasing a ticket, becoming a sponsor, donating an auction item, or making a contribution, you are helping Stefani’s Children’s Foundation continue its mission of supporting children, families, and community organizations across Chicagoland.

Every golfer, sponsor, donor, vendor, and volunteer plays an important role in making this event possible. Your generosity allows us to raise funds, build awareness, and support organizations that make a real difference in the lives of children and families.Thank you for helping us carry this tradition forward!
